Working on the open web since 2019.

I'm George Tzanidakis — a full-stack developer based on the island of Crete. For the last six years I've been building websites, e-shops, and web applications for small businesses, hotels, and local companies across Greece.

My work tends to be quiet and technical. I care about clean HTML, accessible design, fast page loads, and code I'd be proud to maintain in five years. I don't chase trends, but I do stay current — which is why I've recently been building AI agents for businesses and hotels, helping them automate guest support, FAQs, and internal knowledge.

I also do work that doesn't show up in a normal portfolio — helping people pay their bills online, teaching pensioners how to use e-banking, training shop owners on WordPress. The internet is only useful if everyone can use it, and that part of my work matters as much to me as the polished sites.

01 — Belvedere Guest Portal

An in-room digital concierge with an AI assistant.

A complete guest experience for in-room tablets and phones at Belvedere Apartments. Guests authenticate with their reservation code and room number, then access everything they need without picking up the phone — live weather, flight tracking, breakfast ordering, spa booking, hotel info, emergency contacts, and an AI chat assistant trained on hotel knowledge. Multilingual, mobile-first, built from scratch.

02 — Belvedere HACCP

Food-safety compliance, digitized.

A staff-facing web application that replaces paper HACCP logbooks with a structured digital system. Kitchen and management staff log temperature checks, cleaning records, and compliance events from any device, with role-based access and a full audit trail. Built to meet EU food-safety regulations while being fast enough to use during a busy service.
